Solicitor Kirsty Andrews has joined Withy King from Carter Read & Dove in Swindon, bringing a wealth of residential property experience to the firm.

Law graduates Eleanor Woodman and Megan Payne have been recruited as conveyancing assistants, providing support to the legal team while gaining valuable experience as part of their journeys to become qualified solicitors.

Partner Robert Collins, who heads Withy King’s 16-strong residential property team in Wiltshire, said: “We have seen a steady increase in market activity over the last 12 months with renewed interest across the board, from investors, local home owners and first time buyers, which in turn is fuelling our growth. There are signs that the recent changes to the stamp duty threshold are already stimulating the market with more people now able to sell at a price which reflects the true value of their homes rather than one chosen to avoid the next tax bracket.

“Our property advice and conveyancing services are delivered by qualified lawyers, working alongside Wiltshire’s most highly respected estate agencies. We are delighted to welcome Kirsty, Eleanor and Megan to our team and look forwarded to recruiting a conveyancer to join our Marlborough team in the very near future.”

Withy King’s merger with Swindon law firm Lemon & Co has also contributed towards its growth. Residential property solicitors David Halfhead and James Summerfield are now part of Withy King’s team.
