A body artist of ‘international repute’ is to set up shop in Marlborough town centre.
The body artist – whose identity remains a secret until the business opens – will be based at Old Hughenden Yard in the centre of Marlborough.
Body art is art made on, with, or consisting of, the human body, and usually refers to tattoos and body piercings.
Unit 3 Old Hughenden Yard – an open plan unit with high ceilings, prominent display window to Hughenden Yard – was let at the asking price of £10,000 PA by property management company Kavanaghs.
Commercial property manager Stephen Brickell said: “When my colleague James Short, graduate surveyor, brought the property to the market we were inundated with enquires.
“We are delighted to have be able to agree terms of a letting of Unit 3 to a body artist of international repute who is commencing their fit out and launching their business very soon.
“This landmark parade is a welcome addition to our expanding management portfolio and the letting reaffirms that the there is strong demand in the retail sector for good quality property particularly from niche occupiers.”
