Columnists - Claire Perry MP

Claire Perry MP is the Conservative Member of Parliament for the Devizes Constituency.   She was elected in the 2010 General Election succeeding Michael Ancram.  She has held several Ministerial roles.  Claire served as Parliamentary Private Secretary to Philip Hammond, the Secretary of State for Defence until October 2013 when she became a Government Assistant Whip.  In July 2014, Claire was appointed Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Transport, with responsibility for rail fares, rail franchising, freight and logistics and transport agencies.  She resigned from this position on 14 July 2016.
