The April meeting saw the annual Ploughman’s lunch . 

Then member Vernice Church, continued her talk entitled “Textiles, the Taj Mahal and Tuk Tuks”.  
During her trip through Gujarat she visited the Calico Museum,

was given textile demonstrations, took part in workshops and had

many opportunities for retail therapy.

She were shown examples of Rabari work,

saw one of the few people who do Rogan painting, attended

a Kalamkari workshop and a block printing workshop.
Vernice bought some of her purchases for members to see.
