Volunteering for The Samaritans?

Come to find out more at an open event

Thursday 18 July

19:00  until  20:30

Chiseldon House,  Stonehill Green,  Westlea,  Swindon,  SN5 7HB

What’s it all about:  we are always seeking dependable people willing to donate some of their valuable time to help us at Swindon & District Samaritans – so please come along and find out more without obligation

We have a range of volunteering roles available including as listening volunteers where you can help people at difficult times of their lives by providing confidential non judgemental emotional support - every six seconds we can help someone turn their life around. As a listening volunteer you get the chance to make a real difference to someone’s future.

…as a caller to Samaritans said:

“Samaritans can be a potentially life saving service for anyone that feels they have nobody to talk to about how they’re feeling. A non-judgemental ear to listen to them at a time when they need it most”

Please come and find out more about us in person!

If you need to know anything further, please do get in touch.
