The Big Moon

@Sound Knowledge/Movida

We have just the thing to cure the January blues as London guitar four-piece The Big Moon join us on Monday 13th.  They'll be playing a short set at Movida from 7pm before signing copies of their new album 'Walking Like We Do' in the shop.

Taking their cues from American alt-rockers and Britpop alike, the band's exuberant, hook-laden 2017 debut 'Love In The 4th Dimension' picked up a Mercury Prize nomination and the same year also saw them backing singer-songwriter Marika Hackman on her acclaimed record 'I'm Not Your Man' (which Marika came here to promote).

For the sophomore album Juliette, Soph, Celia and Fern decamped to Atlanta to work with Grammy winner Ben H. Allen III, producer of M.I.A, Deerhunter and Bombay Bicycle Club- who the quartet are supporting on tour through January and February.

'Walking Like We Do' is released Friday 10th January on CD, LP and indies-exclusive orange vinyl. You can pre-order a copy from us in-store or over the phone on 01672 511106.

We hope to see you there!
