COMPETITION! win a free copy of Marlborough LitFest's Big Town Read: 'The Salt Path'

One of the highlights of Marlborough LitFest's tenth anniversary will be the visit of Raynor Winn and her husband, Moth.  Her bestselling book The Salt Path is this year's Big Town Read.

The Salt Path is a Sunday Times bestseller and the winner of the Royal Society of Literature Christopher Bland prize.  It was shortlisted for the 2018 Costa biography award & the Wainwright Golden Beer book prize 2018.  Click here to visit a selection of entries to the competition.

Marlborough.news has twenty copies of The Salt Path paperback to give away free - well, nearly free!

 

There will be a free copy for the first twenty people who send us about 300 words (maximum 400 words) on one of the following topics:

EITHER Who was your favourite visiting author of the past nine LitFests - please describe why she or he meant so much to you.


OR You can simply write in praise of LitFest - why do you think it has become such a popular part of Marlborough's calendar?

Winners will be contacted and told where they can collect their copies of The Salt Path.

Marlborough Library has 24 copies of this Big Town Read book and an eBook - there is a waiting list, but people are getting to borrow a copy within a month.
