On Friday (4 September) Naomi Watts celebrated her twenty-fifth anniversary of working at Kennet Valley School in Lockeridge
Although 4 September 1995 may have been the first day that Naomi started her employment at the school, Naomi already had a long and special relationship with Kennet Valley, having herself been a pupil there and then many years later her own children, Demelza and Ezra, also attended.
Over the twenty-five years, Naomi has worked with every year group from Reception through to Year 6, and is known for her calm, friendly and caring nature and her fabulous sense of humour.
Naomi says: “It’s a joy working in a school with such a great family atmosphere. Helping children to reach their potential is a privilege and the wonderful colleagues I have met along the way have made me feel supported in everything I do”.
Mrs. Emma Russell the Headteacher, stated, “All of the staff, both past and present, who have had the pleasure of working with Naomi, would have to agree that she is absolutely fantastic, both as a teaching assistant and colleague, she treats everyone with the same fantastic caring and friendly nature and we all feel very lucky to have worked with her and will continue to appreciate her support and presence in the school. Well done on reaching twenty-five years and thank you, Naomi”.
