PA to Director of Corporate Resources & Deputy Master

Marlborough College is one of the country’s leading co-educational boarding schools and is based on a beautiful campus at the edge of the town in rural North Wiltshire.  We are seeking to appoint an experienced PA to support the Director of Corporate Resources and Deputy Master who, through the Master, is responsible to the College Council for all aspects of non-academic administration of the College.

The PA role is a senior and responsible position within the College administration, and aside from possessing excellent secretarial and IT skills, the successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills to deal courteously and efficiently with all members of staff, parents, pupils, outside organisations and the public.  You will have experience of working with governing bodies, ideally within a complex organisation and be able to work with absolute discretion at all times.  Highly efficient and meticulous, you will have a flexible ‘can-do’ approach to your work and remain calm under pressure, juggling conflicting priorities with ease.  Previous line management experience would be an advantage.
