Marlborough International Jazz Festival 2016 gets a new lead sponsor: Kerridge Commercial Systems of Hungerford
Kerridge Commercial Systems (KCS), an international company based at Herongate in Hungerford, is the new lead sponsor for the 2016 Marlborough International Jazz Festival (15-17 July.) KCS is a leading company providing integrated business solutions for the distribution sector.
The Festival's Director, Nicholas Fogg, is delighted that KCS has come in as lead sponsor: "This is a prestigious international company with which we have had a good relationship for a number of years. It is extremely good for us to extend our connection with them in this special way."
Ian Bendelow, KCS' chief executive officer, told Marlborough.News: "This is a great event for us to be involved with and to be part of a fabulous weekend of top quality live music will be truly special."
"We are looking forward to the festival and have no doubt the organisers and participants will put on a superb programme to be enjoyed by everyone."
In addition to operations in Hungerford, Bourne End and Newcastle, KCS serves customers in Ireland, Netherlands and South Africa. It employs more than 400 staff.
In 2015, KCS acquired Dancik International, an American company based in North Carolina. The KCS Group now has around 800 customers serving 5,000 locations and 60,000 users across eighteen countries.
Last December Brewin Dolphin announced that it would no longer be the Festival's headline sponsor. The company had been headline sponsor for eleven years - taking over the Town Hall for part of the Saturday programme to hold its corporate event.
Brewin Dolphin will continue as lead sponsor for the 2016 Marlborough LitFest.
