Opportunity for young people to visit Parliament
Young people are being given the opportunity to visit the Houses of Parliament, and find out more about the work of an MP.
The day-long visit is being organised by the youth wing of the Devizes Constituency Conservative Association, but is open to people between the age of 15 and 30 of any political persuasion.
The free trip – which includes transport to and from London, but not lunch – will take place during Prime Minister’s Questions, and there may be a chance for a few of the delegates to watch PMQs.
The visit will also include a tour of the Houses of Parliament, and a relaxed Q&A session with MP Claire Perry.
A coach will be leaving from Marlborough Conservative Club in High Street on Wednesday, July 13 from 7.30am, returning at 6.30pm.
