Superdrug is coming to Marlborough
Beauty and health products retailer Superdrug is to open in Marlborough.
The company confirmed this week that its new store – at 134-135 High Street – will be opening ‘before the end of December’.
The retail unit has had no fewer than four big high street names above its doors in the past ten years.
The premises was vacated by convenience store My Local in June. Previously it was a Morrisons, M & Co, Marks & Spencer, and Somerfield.
Founded in 1964, Superdrug currently has more than 900 stores in the UK and Ireland, and employs 14,000 people.
It is the biggest name in its sector behind market leader Boots. It’s nearest stores are in Swindon and Devizes.
The firm is currently advertising for a store manager and sales advisors.
