Police appeal for information following Tesco ram raid

The raid happened in the early hours of Saturday morning (February 4).

Thieves used a vehicle to ram the front of the building, giving the occupants access to the store. .

The bulletin says that entry was gained and items were taken – but what was stolen, and the value of the haul, is currently unknown.

PC Dave McCalmont said: "We would like to speak to anyone in the Marlborough area who may have seen this happen or seen any vehicle driving erratically or suspiciously just before or after this time.

"It's close to the main Salisbury road, so someone driving near here may have seen this vehicle - if that was you please come forward.

“Also, if you heard anything suspicious in this area of town, please contact me."

It is understood that the incident was captured on CCTV.
