Two men arrested at the scene of an accident in which a woman was killed will face a trail by jury next month, on charges of death by dangerous driving.
Jordan Blake (24) of Ogbourne St George and Alexander May (27) of Ramsbury appeared before Salisbury magistrates this morning (Friday).
They spoke only to confirm their names, addresses, and dates of birth, and to indicate their understanding of their bail conditions: that they have no contact with each other, or any one of 15 named witnesses.
They were released on bail to appear before a judge at Salisbury Crown Court on Wednesday, March 29.
Jane Thompson, aged 54 and from the Redhouse area of Swindon, was killed as she walked alongside the A4 near Savernake Hospital at around 5.30pm on Thursday, June 9.
She was the receptionist to the neighbourhood health team based at Savernake Hospital.
