Brighter Futures bowled over by the efforts of Marlborough Bowls Club

The money was raised by many different ventures.  From raffles at socials, cake and various other table sales, to a dedicated fundraising evening with an auction.  The presentation marked the culmination of all these activities, and Jane thanked everyone who had been involved in making the fund-raising programme of events "such a great success with a fantastic amount raised'.

Around eighty Bowls Club members and friends were present to celebrate the cheque hand-over, many of whom had been instrumental in raising the funds for Brighter Futures and were thanked by the Social Comittee of the club for all of their efforts.
