Has a traffic accident become a case of fly-tipping?

Scene of the accidednt - photo taken Thursday, 16 FebruaryScene of the accidednt - photo taken Thursday, 16 FebruaryAt 10.30pm on Wednesday, February 15, Wiltshire police were called to a road traffic accident on the Marlborough-to-Pewsey stretch of the A345 just north of Clench Common.

Only one vehicle was involved in the accident.  A grey Isuzu Trooper had left the road near a corner and ended up hitting trees in the hedge along the west side of the road.

Paramedics were called to the scene of the accident. The female passenger in the car was taken to hospital with a head injury. Her injury was not thought to be serious.

Marlborough.News understands that the police were told by the driver that he would arrange the removal of the vehicle.

However, a week after the accident, the very battered remains of the car and some belongings from inside the car, are still there - with police tape.
