The arts benefit from Waitrose’s green token aid
The arts have benefited from the August results of the green token Community Matters operated by the Marlborough branch of Waitrose. Marlborough Concert Orchestra has received £342, Arts Together £367 and the Pewsey Music Festival £291.
The charities due for help during September are Action for the River Kennet, Wiltshire Wildlife Trust and the Marlborough Apple Day’s Jubilee Orchard project.
These three charities are all looking for customer volunteers. Contact details are available on posters now on display in the supermarket.
