Christmas shopping voucher offers an extra free hour
Shoppers will be able to get an extra hour of parking for free in the run up to Christmas by taking advantage of the autumn issue of Wiltshire Council’s magazine for residents, 'Your Wiltshire'.
The magazine, due for delivery on October 15, will contain a Christmas parking voucher which entitles the reader to an extra hour of parking at no extra cost, in Marlborough or any other Wiltshire town, and which can be used more than once between December 17 and 24.
“I really hope people take advantage of this offer to help stimulate shopping in our towns and city in the run up to Christmas,” Dick Tonge, the council’s Cabinet member for highways, told Marlborough News Online. “All residents in Wiltshire will receive the voucher for one hour free parking when their 'Your Wiltshire' magazine drops through their door. It will be a welcome boost to both businesses and shoppers.”
