Great Western Hospitals Foundation Trust is holding a nursing recruitment day at Savernake Hospital on Friday, February 27 from 2.00pm to 7.00pm.
GWH which owns the hospital, is looking for ten registered nurses – newly qualified or returning to work – for its 30-bed Ailesbury Ward.
Nurses coming to this event will meet the senior nurses and clinicians who work on the ward, have a tour of the hospital and can be interviewed for one of the jobs.
Newly qualified nurses joining the Savernake team will be able to take part in a ‘preceptorship’ scheme – fully funded and with full study leave. This mentoring scheme helps newly qualified nurses in their transition from student study to fully competent nurse.
Healthcare Assistants are also welcome at this event as there could be positions available for unregistered nurses.

Next week Marlborough News Online will be publishing a series of three articles on the problems the NHS faces in recruiting staff.
