Your invitation from Prospect Hospice to pop in to its Savernake Hospital outreach centre
Staff and volunteers from Prospect Hospice are inviting the people of Marlborough and the surrounding villages to come and learn about the support and services they are now providing at the charity’s outreach centre at Savernake Hospital.
The second of the Outreach Centre’s two ‘pop-in’ events will be on Wednesday, November 16 between 10am and 12noon, and there will be a further, pre-Christmas pop-in on Monday, December 19 between 2pm and 4pm.
The outreach centre held its first pop-in session last month and the coordinator, Zoe O’Reilly says it was very successful: ““It’s been great to welcome people to our outreach centre as it was opened as a facility to help people from across this community, and our hope is that more people will come and join us for our next pop-ins in November and December.”
Visitors were also able to meet with Mike Kennedy, Prospect’s community fundraiser in the area and to learn more about how their support helps patients and families in Marlborough and the surrounding villages.
