Stopped clock raises questions

Written by Tony Millett.

At the moment St Mary's Church is having a lot of new wiring installed and new lighting as well, so the electricity supply is sporadic.

Until the supply is back on consistently, the clock will not be working.  St Mary's is aware how poor it looks when a public clock is not working and they hope to fix it as soon as possible.

St Mary's has apologised for the inconvenience and is keen to let people know that the clock is the responsibility of the Church and not of the Town Council - so please do not ask the Town Clerk if she knows the clock has stopped.
