Two men killed in light aircraft crash at Brimslade - Police appeal for witnesses

Police have confirmed that two men were killed following yesterday's (13 July) light aircraft crash at Brimslade Farm, near to Wootton Rivers.  They were alerted late yesterday afternoon at about 6:30pm that a light aircraft had crashed in a field near Wootton Rivers to the South of Marlborough.


Police officers, ambulance and the fire & rescue service attended the scene, as well as representatives from the Air Accidents Investigation Branch who will lead the investigation into the incident.


Reports indicate that the surrounding field caught fire and four fire engines had been sent to deal with that blaze.

Work is ongoing at the scene.
