Marlborough recycling centre to close for six working days
Following the change in contractors for most of Wiltshire Council's household recycling centres, a refurbishment and improvement programme is beginning with centres closing for short periods while the work takes place.
FCC Environment was recently awarded a contract by the council to run nine council owned recycling centres and they will be carrying out refurbishment works on them and where possible, improving the layouts.
This work will mean each site will be closed from between one and two weeks between October and December 2017.
Marlborough recycling centre will be closed from October 2 to October 12.
The work has been planned to ensure that when one centre is closed, others fairly close to that particular area will still be open.
