Chilton Foliat Primary School will be hosting a Wild West themed Summer Fete on Saturday, June 16 from 1.00pm to 4.00pm.
Visitors can expect an action packed afternoon – with rides on a rodeo bull, a giant inflatable and a ‘Wild West’ fancy dress competition. There will be Native American drumming sessions, dance displays, a performance from the school choir, a cake sale, face painting, traditional stalls and games, and much more.
A bar, BBQ and refreshments will be available throughout the event and a raffle will also be drawn on the day. Top prizes include two tickets for the Garstonbury Festival on July 14, a specially commissioned framed pet portrait worth £395, pizza and prosecco for two at The Wheatsheaf in Chilton Foliat, a £25 Camp Hopson voucher and many more fabulous prizes.
The event is organised by the Friends of Chilton Foliat Primary School, who are raising funds to purchase new furniture and classroom equipment.
Entry to the summer fete is £1 per person and free of charge for under 2s. For further information available from the school office on 01488 682630 or friendsofchiltonfoliat@gmail.com.
