Winning goal for Marlborough Youth Football Club as they sign local business Soft Options Water Softeners as sponsor

Soft Options Water Softeners Ltd, a family run business based in Burbage who supply and install water softening and drinking water filtration/purification products for both domestic and commercial use, are the latest sponsor for the club.

Marlborough Youth Football Club was formed in 2009 and has expanded to provide football for more than 240 boys and girls in Marlborough. Chairman Stuart Slater commented “The club is run on a volunteer basis and therefore we reply heavily on the support of the local community. We always need volunteers to help us coach the teams and sponsorship gives us much needed funds, we are extremely grateful to Soft Options Water Softeners who have come on board to sponsor the under 12’s. It is important to us that local businesses get involved with the club so we can continue coaching the children and working with them to improve their skills”.

MYFC ethos is Football For ALL offering a wide range of football opportunities for players of all ages and abilities. Since 2009 MYFC have achieved and maintained FA Chartered Standard status with all activity following and promoting its code of conduct and values. MYFC were also the proud winners of the Wiltshire Sports Club of the Year in 2014.

Alison Cook and Simon Neate, Directors of Soft Options Water Softeners, said: “We have a successful, expanding business serving the local community and as a local businesses we feel it is important to give something back. We decided to support the club after seeing the great work their do and the enjoyment the children get from the sport.”

Manager of the Under 12¹s Geoff Pratt said “The children love their new football strip and we are looking forward to a successful season.”
