A number of girls from the Angels section of MYFC, took part in Wiltshire County Trials over the summer, and this pays testament to the hard work that Becky Knox and John Whitehead have put into growing this group over the last year or so. MYFC is fast becoming a magnet for aspiring girl footballers from Marlborough and the surrounding areas, with players now travelling from as far away as Swindon, to participate in the sessions and matches.

Olivia Hancock who plays for the U11 Angels team, and also the U11 boys mixed team,  made it through the first and second set of trials, and now attends weekly sessions at the Wiltshire Girls ACC ( Advanced Coaching  Centre) playing in the U12 age group. Olivia has already taken part in a Festival where she had the opportunity to play against teams such as Dorset, Gloucestershire, Devon and Somerset.

Olivia is already displaying   a high level of ball mastery and has great confidence on the ball, playing at this higher standard will only push her game understanding even further, helping her to reach her full potential.
