On Friday last week (20 October) Lisa Wakeman (back row, 3rd from right) of Watrose presented Geoff Pratt (back row far right) of Marlborough Youth Football Club (MYFC) with a cheque for £357 - from the Waitrose Community Support Green Token scheme.

Stuart Slater, Chairman of MYFC was full of praise and thanks to the local store:  "We are very grateful to Waitrose for including us in their Community Support Green Token Scheme" he said, "But even more grateful to the Waitrose shoppers who chose MYFC as the 'section of choice' for their token".  "All the money will go towards helping with the ever increasing costs of running this wonderful club."  he added.
