Last week Nina Davies, Alan Turnell, Jenny Swift and Simon Futcher faced stiff competition from a strong field of 120 competitors.

They played on the Duke's Course which is one of the finest inland golfing settings in Europe accumulating 80 points to win the competition. This course was the location for the British Masters for 20 years and from 2008 has been home to the Travis Perkins Senior Masters and other top men's and women's professional events.

Commenting on the competition, Jenny Swift said: “The course had absorbed three inches of rain during the week so it wasn’t easy, no run and the greens were challenging, but everyone contributed so it was a great combination.”

“We won vouchers to spend in their Pro Shop and a free round of golf on their Marquis Course for the team in 2014, with lunch – so we can return and enjoy another of their courses. A great win for Marlborough!  I can’t stop smiling. It was like winning a Major.”
