Kadeen, the current Team Bath and England International netballer, attended a junior netball session at Marlborough Leisure Centre fresh from England’s stunning 3-0 series win over world number one side Australia.

She ran a number of coaching drills and then helped coach the girls in a friendly triangular tournament. They then had the opportunity to quiz Kadeen over her involvement in netball and some of her experiences so far.

Marlborough Junior Netball, set up by the Wiltshire Council sports development team, has been running since October half term 2012 with the intention of trying to create enough interest to develop a junior club in the town.

An open meeting is being held at Marlborough Leisure Centre on Wednesday, March 6 at 6.30pm to discuss the development of the junior netball club.

Anyone interested in hearing about the project and finding out more is invited to come along or alternatively contact Alex Muse, Sports Development Officer on 01380 826315.
