Marlborough Rugby Football Club have just announced two very important signings: firstly, Elis Vunipola, former Tonga international fly half, and uncle of England internationals Billy and Mako joins as Head Coach, and secondly, Chilvester Financial commit to a long-term five year sponsorship deal which will provide funding to support the thirty-five strong team of coaches who work with the nearly four hundred club members from Under 7s to First XV.
Director Tony Capener tells us “We are delighted to be working with Marlborough Rugby Club on this project in supporting the clubs dedicated volunteer coaching team. Community involvement around our office locations is important to us and we are pleased to extend our support to help the development of sport for youngsters in Marlborough.” Chilvester’s Marlborough office opened in Angel House on the High Street at the beginning of last year having become established in Calne since 1999.
“We look forward to the support that Chilvester Financial are delivering to the club” said Treasurer, Mark Thomas. “Quality and depth of coaching is vital for future development and the investment that we can now put towards the coaching team will help enormously right across the whole club” he added, “and will make the club even more successful in the years to come”.
