Marlborough's game against Lavington was played at Dauntsey School on a wet and bleak Sunday afternoon.
Marlborough started the game with pace which resulted in a goal in the seventh minute, a long range shot from Ffion Williams.

Marlborough Rugby Football Club have just announced two very important signings: firstly, Elis Vunipola, former Tonga international fly half, and uncle of England internationals Billy and Mako joins as Head Coach, and secondly, Chilvester Financial commit to a long-term five year sponsorship deal which will provide funding to support the thirty-five strong team of coaches who work with the nearly four hundred club members from Under 7s to First XV.

Following a successful season the Player of The Year awards were announced on 13th July 2017. Whereas in previous years there had only been one Player of The Year award, this year there were two - one for The Player of The Year as voted for by parents and public , and the other as voted by coaching staff of MYFC.
