Registration is open for the fourth annual Savernake Forest 10k and 3K fun run – taking place on Saturday, July 13.
Whether you’re a serious runner, getting fit, or just enjoy being active, you can join this family friendly event. The 10km race kicks off at 9:30am, with the 3km following at 11:00am.
Both races start from the picturesque hamlet of St Katharine’s, the course winds its way through some of the most breath-taking sights the Forest has to offer, including the chance to run trails over private land which are not normally accessible to the public.
With friendly marshalling throughout and water points, this is an adventure for all abilities. And there is loads to do for non-runners and supporters too, with tea and coffee, cake and of course, the BBQ serving bacon rolls and hot dogs.
Winners’ prizes will be provided for all categories and every person to complete the course will receive a custom made medal.
Entry costs £10 for the 10km run and £5 for the 3km, with funds going to St Katharine’s Primary School.
Commemorative T-shirts are also available in all sizes.
Registration is required for runners and is available now online at www.savernake10k.co.uk
