Amenity land off Rabley Wood View sold

Written by Tony Millett on .

Wiltshire Council have announced that the amenity land off Rabley Wood View - which they own and which has been subject to a long and contentious planning process - has now been sold.

The buyer is the Green Square Housing Association.  They are a provider of housing, care and support and commercial services across Wiltshire, Oxfordshire and Gloucestershire with offices in Chippenham, Swindon, Gloucester and Oxford.  They have held contracts for Wilshire Council’s Help to Live at Home care services.

Outline planning permission exists for 39 houses on this site.  Green Square intend to present their plans to the Marlborough Council at the next Full Council meeting on February 18.
