A 29-year-old man from the Marlborough area has died following a single vehicle collision on the A4 near Cherhill on Friday night (July 5).
Officers were called to the area at about 11.05pm. A Kawasaki ZX600 motorbike had been travelling along the A4 between Calne and Beckhampton when the collision occurred near Cherhill village.
The motorcyclist died at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.
PC Rich Hatch, is with the Collision Investigation Unit: “We do not believe any other vehicles were involved in the collision. However, we would urge anyone who may have been driving in the area at the time who may have dash-cam footage which could be relevant to our investigation, to please get in touch.”
